Manchester United and Wayne Rooney have been pretty impressive thus far this season. Rooney has nine goals in five games including two hat tricks, United have scored twenty one goals in their five games. Ashley Young and Nani have been particularly impressive in the early going and Javier Hernandez was terrific in his first two games of the season although he may miss this gae through injury after Ashley Cole's horror tackle last Sunday. Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are settlng in well at the back while covering for injured captain Nemanja Vidic. The Red Devils have a glut of options on the bench also with Danny Wellbeck, Michael Owen and Dimitar Berbatov vying for the position of striker next to Rooney if Hernandez is not fit to go.
Stoke City have had a superb start to the season beatin Liverpool and drawing with Chelsea at home. The Potters currently lie fifth in the table and apart from last weeks loss to Sunderland they have been very solid defensively. Kenwyn Jones and John Walters seem to be forming a decent partnership although goals have been hard to come by for his team. Tony Pulis has set his stall out to defend at home against the bigger teams in the League and gave up alot of possession against both Liverpool and Chelsea.
If Stoke play a similar game plan against Manchester United and concede possession then United's wingers and strikers will rip them apart. I think we ride the hot team here and take United to get the win, at the price of 8/15 though we are looking for a little more value take them to lead at half time at evens, they've led in their last three league games at half time and have been making a habit of a fast start this season.
